2. What Library Agents is (and isn't)
Library Agents is a community and resource platform. We are not a literary agency, publisher, or magazine. We do not represent writers to third parties or guarantee outcomes such as publication, placement, awards, or sales.
3. Membership & billing
- Premium membership is $25 USD per year, billed at signup and annually thereafter unless cancelled.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Cancel anytime from your account settings; access remains active through the end of the paid term.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing content; misrepresent your identity; scrape, resell, or redistribute our directories; or attempt to disrupt the service.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you submit (bios, prompts, news, book listings). You grant Library Agents a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share your submissions on the platform, in the newsletter, and on our social channels, solely to operate and promote the service. You may remove your content at any time by editing your account or contacting us.
6. Editorial features
Community spotlights, book features, and news roundups are curated at editors' discretion based on relevance and community fit. Membership does not guarantee any specific feature or placement.
7. Third-party links
Directory entries, book links, and cover images may point to third-party sites (Open Library, publishers, retailers). Some links may earn us affiliate commissions. We are not responsible for third-party content.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that listings are complete or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Library Agents's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
