Share Your Work

A community-first place to share news and practice craft.

Library Agent isn't a publisher or literary magazine. We're a members' community — submit your news for our weekly roundup, respond to prompts, and share what you're reading.

Where you can contribute

Three ways to share with the community.

Author News

Submit launches, awards, and new publications for our weekly community roundup and social sharing. Editors select what goes out each week.

Writing Prompts

New prompts every week. Members can submit responses for possible inclusion in the community prompt showcase.

Reading Recommendations

Members can nominate books — their own or others' — for the community reading list shared with our subscribers.

Submission Guidelines

Straightforward and honest.

  • News submissions: title, publisher (if any), release/award date, cover or headshot, and a short blurb (150 words max)
  • Prompt responses: 500 words max for prose, up to 3 poems, original work only
  • Include a short third-person bio (75 words max) with your submission
  • Turnaround: news items considered weekly; prompt responses reviewed monthly
  • We're a small community platform — not every submission runs, and we don't offer payment or editing services
