About Us
Library Agent is a global literary community and membership platform for authors, poets, screenwriters, essayists, and creative nonfiction writers. We are not a publisher — we're the resource, directory, and audience most writers wish existed.
Our Story
Library Agent began the way most literary projects do — quietly, over long emails between friends who were tired of paying for scattered subscriptions to track submissions, contests, and agent openings.
We built the tool we wished existed: a single, professionally curated home for the opportunities that matter. Then we added the promotion, the directory, the workshops, and the community that came with it.
Today, Library Agent is a membership platform for 550+ writers around the world. Every feature is designed for one purpose — to help serious writers publish, get read, and build a career on their own terms.

What We Believe
Every feature, listing, and partnership begins with one question: does this help writers make and share better work?
Our editorial team vets every agent, press, magazine, and grant. No spam listings, no dead links, no pay-to-play features.
We serve writers on six continents in every literary genre — from small-town poets to international novelists.
One plan, $25/year, everything included. No upsells, no tiered gates, no surprise fees.
Milestones
Started as a shared spreadsheet of literary opportunities between three writer friends.
Launched the searchable database and member directory after repeated requests from the community.
Brought on full-time editors to curate opportunities, spotlight members, and produce the weekly newsletter.
Now serving 550+ active members with 1,600+ curated opportunities and a growing readership of 40,000+.
